Forest Health Nutrition Association of China Forestry Industry Association started the compilation of "China Forest Health Industry Development Report (2023)"

Recently, the National Forest Health and Nutrition Innovation Alliance of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration and the Forest Health and Nutrition Association of the China Forestry Industry Federation organized the first meeting of the editorial board of the "China Forest Health and Nutrition Industry Development Report (2023)" through an online meeting. More than 30 editorial board members from forestry and grass departments and research institutes all over the country attended the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that under the scientific deployment of relevant state departments, under the active promotion of local forestry and grassland authorities, and with the joint participation of industry colleges, scientific research institutions, industry associations and business units, the construction of forest health care bases has been vigorously carried out, and the national forest health care cause has achieved healthy and orderly development. The forest health industry is the most inclusive and equitable ecological well-being of people's livelihood, a vivid practice of the concept of "clear waters and lush mountains are gold and silver mountains", and an important measure to implement the strategy of healthy China and rural revitalization. It has become an effective way to explore the value realization mechanism of ecological products in the new era and a powerful starting point for local party committees and governments to promote regional industrial transformation and upgrading and build a new development pattern of regional economy.

The meeting stressed that the compilation of the "China Forest Health Industry Development Report (2023)" will gather the largest team of experts in the forest health industry, and systematically comb the development of the national forest health industry by region and type through in-depth research and analysis of the competent departments of forest health care at all levels and the main bodies of forest health care management. Summarize the effectiveness of forest health care in the aspects of healthy China, rural revitalization, ecological greening, industrial upgrading, local tax contribution, driving entrepreneurship and employment, and improving ecological and livelihood well-being, analyze the difficulties and challenges faced by forest health care industry, and discuss the new direction, new model and new path of forest health care development.

The meeting also organized the editorial board members to discuss the outline of the "China Forest Health Industry Development Report (2023)", and carried out the preliminary division of labor and the preparation of the work schedule.
