The first training textbook on forest health plants in China has been published

Recently, one of the training materials developed by China Forestry Industry Federation, Forest Rehabilitation Branch, was officially published by Huazhong University of Science and Technology Press. The book is the first basic research monograph on forest health plants in China.

The training textbook series is edited by Liu Tuo, vice president of China Forestry Industry Federation and chairman of Forest Health Branch. The book of Forest Health Plant is edited by Li Jiehui, expert of "National Forest Health Expert Think Tank", and Li Yihui, vice chairman and secretary general of China Forestry Industry Federation, Forest Rehabilitation Branch, and Leng Wentao, standing director and deputy secretary general of China Forestry Industry Federation, Forest Rehabilitation Branch, are deputy editors.

The book Forest Health Plants mainly summarizes the meaning, framework construction and theoretical analysis of forest health plants, including the meaning, mechanism of action, function, type, screening principle, suitable population, construction mode, scene application, etc. In the form of color illustrations, the book conducts citation, framework analysis and application exploration of the basic attributes, health functions and scene applications of 222 common forest health plants.

In order to enhance the practicality of the training materials, the book also selects 15 "national forest health base" or "national forest health base pilot construction county" such as Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, Lianshan Zhuang and Yao Autonomous County, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, Yuping Mountain, Hongya County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, and Gutian Meihua Mountain, Shanghang County, Longyan City, Fujian Province as case studies, providing reference templates for the construction of forest health bases in pilot construction counties and units.
