Recently, the Polish Tourism Bureau held a spring media meeting in Beijing to share the latest entry policies and new travel experiences of Poland, and recommend a number of wonderful themed travel routes covering the natural beauty and outdoor experience. We hope that more Chinese tourists can visit Poland in 2023 to experience the physical and mental habitat, nature, art, wild interest and long-lost romance.

Tang Yunzhu, chief representative of the Beijing office of the Polish Tourism Bureau, said the number of visitors to Poland is now close to the pre-epidemic level. Individual tourist visas for Poland have been available since January 2023, and business and study visas have been available earlier. Chinese tourists can submit visa applications through 15 Polish visa centers nationwide, up to six months in advance. Visitors to Poland are not required to undergo nucleic acid testing, quarantine and provide proof of vaccines. Poland is eagerly anticipating the arrival of Chinese tourists, and not only the tourism industry has adopted higher hygiene standards, but also the hotel and catering industry has adopted stricter disinfection measures. While Lot and Air China have resumed direct flights between Beijing and Warsaw, Polish Air will increase its direct flights to three a week from April, while Air China will maintain two direct flights a week. Air fares are expected to fall further. At present, more and more important business delegations are visiting Poland, making Poland one of the first countries for Chinese enterprises to make investment visits abroad.

At a time when relaxing in nature is more valued, Poland is promoting its colorful natural beauty and unique outdoor experiences on the basis of historical and culture-themed Tours. Poland, bordering the Baltic Sea to the north, has more than 500 kilometers of coastline and golden beaches. The long coastline, along with the Mazuri Lake District, the "Lake of a thousand", forms the longest water route in Europe and is ideal for sailing, yachting, kayaking and windsurfing. The Tatra Mountains, located in the far south of Poland, offer 270 kilometers of climbing and hiking trails for outdoor players of all levels to explore. It has overlapping mountains, steep cliffs, deep canyons, glaciers, lakes and rapids. In addition, there are hundreds of palaces and castles hidden in the south and southwest of Poland, as well as more than 40 state-certified spa resorts and several spa hotels. Travelers looking for a new vacation experience can stay in century-old Polish castles and palaces, learn to sail or kitesurf on the Baltic Sea, and enjoy hot springs at a forest oxygen bar.

Poland launches deep travel experience

Over the past three years, Poland has introduced new tourism facilities and experiences. In addition to the transformation of Poland's industrial city of Lodz into a "sustainable" tourist destination, suitable for planning a green building trip. Mandoria, Europe's largest indoor amusement park, recently opened the longest indoor train track in Poland. The much-visited Gdansk Amber Museum was relocated from the prison tower in the main city to the Great Mill, reopening in 2021. The museum tripled its exhibition space to nearly 1,000 square meters. Among the thousands of exhibits in the museum are not only raw amber stones from around the world and the precious plants and animals embedded in them, but also the finest works of ancient amber masters and a collection of modern art. In addition, the Krakow Vodka Factory Museum, which opened in October 2022, will introduce Tours themed on "Vodka Production from the Middle Ages to today," "Vodka and Banquet Culture through the Ages," and "The Taste of Vodka Past and present."

Other in-depth theme lines include: "She Tours" themed products (for women who love art and health, including self-improvement workshops, festivals or sporting events), cultural Tours exploring the "Polish Amber Path" (viewing processing displays, experiencing amber health retreats, tasting fish soup with amber wine), And "Poland on horseback," riding through fantasy beaches on the Baltic Sea or riding trails in the mountains. There are thousands of kilometers of horseback riding Tours and more than 600 riding clubs.

According to Beijing travel agents, Poland's spectacular natural scenery and first-class cultural activities and cuisine are especially suitable for female travelers. Eco-yoga, mountain hiking, romantic cafes, numerous beauty salons and spas, Gdansk Amber Street and the annual World Amber Treasure Hunt, as well as unique shopping experiences are all attractive.
