    time:2023-01-19 11:01 author:IMTA

"God said let there be light, and there was light, and there was Armenia."

Armenia is mountainous, with 90% of its territory above 1000 m above sea level. The highest point is Mount Aragac in the northwest Highlands at 4090 m above sea level. This natural advantage, the temptation for mountaineering enthusiasts is considerable. At the same time, local organizations have been set up to develop mountaineering in Armenia.

The Federation organizes and holds training sessions and exchanges for beginners and those already involved in the sport. The Federation has been organizing mountaineering and rock climbing training in various parts of Armenia for the purpose of participating in international competitions and later Olympic Games.

In addition, current students in grades 5-9 can also join the activity.
