Xixi'nan is an ancient village dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907). It is an important part of the history of the Huizhou merchants. The buildings in the village still maintain the Hui architectural style featuring gray tiles and white walls. Other than farming, the local villagers also benefit from tourists who travel there to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
