Ranwu Lake in Basu County of Chamdo, Xizang Autonomous Region /CFP

Located in the southwest corner of Basu County in Chamdo, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, Ranwu Lake is approximately 90 kilometers away from the town of Baima. It is a barrier lake that originated from the obstruction of a river channel caused by landslides or debris flow. The lake has gained popularity among numerous travelers who embark on the Sichuan-Tibet route, owing to its close proximity to the Sichuan-Tibet Highway.
