The Fanjing Mountain, where there lies the highest peak of the Wuling Mountain Range across four provinces of Guizhou, Chongqing, Hunan and Guangdong, is located in Tongren, Southwestern China's Guizhou Province, and is a well-known Buddhist mountain and a kingdom of fine ecology. With the most well-preserved primitive forests in the same latitude on earth, in July 2018, it was included in the World Natural Heritage list.

Rime Spectacle

The rime on Mount Fanjing is no inferior to that of the North. In winter when the mountain is covered with ice and snow, you can see the rime bloom like flowers. In the sunlight, they glitter and shine, which is spectacular.

Untouched Forests

The Yamugou Senic Spot is located at the foot of Mount Fanjing.

The Fanjing Mountain is the only habitat of firs, the most important protection area of forests of Fagus longipetiolata Seem in Asia, the area with the most abundant gymnosperms in the world, and the area with the most abundant bryophytes in the biological area of deciduous forests in the Orient.

The mountain features the primitive landscapes with cloud waterfalls and Zen-like fogs adding mysterious color to it. The most popular spots on Mount Fanjing include Hongyunjinding (the main peak of the Fanjing Mountain where the red clouds are always seen at dawn), the mushroom stone, Zhaisha Dong Village, Yunshe Village, the Taiping River, etc.
