Preface
The "Dialogue among Famous Mountains in the World" is a high-end forum platform established by the International Mountain Tourism Alliance(IMTA). Since 2018, it has been successfully held for three sessions, invited dozens of representatives of world famous mountains such as the Mount Alps, Batur Volcano, Mount Changbai, Mount Cairngorms, Mount Fuji, and Himalayas to have a dialogue around the mountain, which has received wide attention and positive impact in the international tourism industry. The 2023 "Dialogue among Famous Mountains in the World" will be held in Xingyi City, Guizhou Province on September 15 with the theme of "World Famous Mountains Enable Mountain Tourism Health and Well-being". From now on, the Wechat, Weibo and Official Website of IMTA set up the third season of "Experience Mountain Beauties with Sound" to take you feel like being in the real mountains with sound and pictures, and to feel the new connotation of the mountain, to experience the new gameplay of mountain.

Luang Prabang is one of the famous tourist attractions in Laos, located in the valley surrounded by mountains on the banks of the Mekong River, 85% of its land area is mountainous, is a quaint small mountain town. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, Luang Prabang has been the capital of several Laotian dynasties for more than a thousand years. On May 29 this year, the 2023 "International Mountain Tourism Day" with the theme of "Connecting the wonderful Mountains, Sharing a beautiful Life, Promoting Tourism Revitalization together" was successfully held in Vientiane, Laos. During the event, the guests also walked into Luang Prabang, visited local homestays, Buddhist temples, experienced mountain culture, and tasted Lao food.

Mountain culture is a highlight of Luang Prabang. Luang Prabang is the center of Lao Buddhism, temples, pagodas, there are more than 30 temples in the city alone, residents believe in Buddhism, is a veritable Buddhist capital. In Luang Prabang, you can visit the Siang Thong Temple, the Grand Palace, etc., to learn about the local culture.

Every morning the monks begging for alms along the street is a great sight. In the early morning, monks dressed in Tibetan red robes walk the streets, and devout residents drop prepared glutinous rice balls into the monks' bowls. For locals, giving is an important and special ritual every morning, and for visitors it is a fresh cultural experience.

When you get to Luang Prabang, be sure to climb Mount Pusi in the heart of the city to enjoy Luang Prabang's town scenery. Some of the new temples can be visited on the way up, and the sunset view of the city at dusk is well worth seeing.

If you want to know how the locals live, go to Foreigner Street. Foreigner Street is Luang Prabang temple, alms, night market, bars, eating and living as one of the commercial street, there are many French restaurants on both sides of the street, most of the buildings are retained French style. During the day, the area is full of exotic shops, and you can experience the unique local spa, or order a glass of Lao beer to spend a leisurely afternoon. As night falls, Foreigner Street is transformed into a charming and lively night market, with a wide range of handicrafts, colorful paper lanterns like muck, and low-cost specialty food available. You can eat salty barbecue, drink refreshing beer, and enjoy the most authentic Lao style.

Of course, not to be missed in Luang Prabang is the Kansai Falls. This is a group of large and small waterfalls, which slope down to form a number of different sizes of infinity pools, which are a great place to dive, play in the water, and enjoy free natural fish therapy in some pools. Jumping into the water from the tree branches that reach into the pool is a very unique experience when visiting Kansai Falls.
