Nyingchi is located in the southeastern part of the Tibet Autonomous Region. It means "The Throne of the Sun" in Tibetan. The climate here is humid so it is also known as the Jiangnan of Tibet. Unlike other parts of Tibet, the Nyingchi area is known for its rich vegetation and well-preserved original ecological features. Many rivers such as the Yarlung Zangbo River run through the canyons of the Nyingchi region. There are quiet villages, waterfalls and other vast landscapes on both sides of the river. It has been hailed as “Switzerland in Tibet."
Bomi’s peach blossom canyon
Bomi’s peach blossom canyon is also called “Bodui peach blossom canyon”. Bomi is located at the east bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River, and Bodui Zangbo is the grade two tributary of the Yarlung Zangbo River. In the river valley of Bodui Zangbo River, peach blossom scenery zone extending for 30km with Zangbo River water can only be seen in dozens of days in one year.
In the end of March, wild peach blossoms all over mountains stretch the whole winter’s emotion on a white canvas made of snow mountains, competing for appearing on the stage arbitrarily.
Peach blossoms of 5km smell pleasant, belonging to Tibet only. Peach blossoms here do not have tender bottom drawers of regions south of the Yangtze River, but seemingly wild snow mountains and ice rivers embrace peach blossoms mildly.
Four Seasons of 5km that Can be “Seen” and a Trip for Souls
Himalayas, Nyainqentanglha Range and Hengduan Mountains embrace Nyingchi, and special terrain and huge elevation falls have made Nyingchi have “four seasons in one mountain and different skies within 5km”.
Tibet’s “little region south of the Yangtze Rive” is Nyingchi’s another name. “Nnamjagbarwa Peak” is the most beautiful peak in China. In the trip, it is easy to be puzzled by every “the most beautiful thing”. This “the most beautiful thing” is not that “the most beautiful thing”. Chinese National Geography ever listed it as the first among ten the most beautiful peaks.
However, in fact, not every time you stand before it can you see the real look of Nnamjagbarwa Peak. Clouds and fog around it throughout the year make it become a “shy girl peak”. She is shy and sometimes shows her unique skills. If you turn around and back, you will not know where she hides.This time, strange and interesting we get together and good luck belonging to us must be born.
Nature Sounds that Can be “Heard”
Listen, the nature is giving a lesson. In this trip, we will enter an outdoor class of the nature. Why is that color be showed because of convergence of two rivers? For National Highway 318 with an angel ring, are ruins still there after prosperity? How do tropical evergreen broad-leaved forests spreading in the subtropical humid area meet frigostable dragon spruce? When we enter gradually the Hengduan Mountainous Region, the scenery changes at the joints. What has attracted your sight?
