From May 27th to 29th, the "Mountain Life Consumption Experience & 8·9·00 Concept Meeting" and "IMTA World Famous Mountain Series— 'Pursuit of the heart · Focus of the Jiabang'" hosted by the International Mountain Tourism Alliance will be held at the IMTA Headquarters in Guiyang. Those events are offline series of activities organized by the International Mountain Tourism Alliance for the global theme commemoration of the "5.29 International Mountain Tourism Day" in 2022.
"8·9·00 Concept Meeting" targeted at young tourists and consumers, 8900 Concept Meeting contains salon for guests from the mountain tourism and life sector, to explore the development trend of mountain tourism, and promote the cooperation of culture and tourism by holding Guizhou youth mountain tourism consumption exhibition, guests’ sharing on mountain life, and other supporting events.
"Mountain Life Consumption Experience" contains new consumption points of mountain fast-fashion life, new mountain tourism retailing, new mountain tourism lifestyle, and mountain camping consumption fair. Targeted at young consumers, the Experience promotes the unique cultural edges and resources of mountain tourism, as well as relevant business patterns.
Guizhou has unique mountain tourism resources and is an ideal place for mountain tourism research and practice. In this event, through the collision and exchange of ideas, as well as the scene-based display of some mountain cultural tourism industries will help the future development of mountain living consumption and mountain tourism economy. New and diverse discussions and exchanges were conducted. In the pandemic situation, such exchanges and discussions have also provided new ideas and directions for the development of mountain tourism in Guizhou, and actively promoted the friendly exchanges and mutual integration of the industry, and to discuss, build and share the bright future of mountain tourism.
The "International Mountain Tourism Day" is a global commemorative day marked by the first human beings to climb the world's highest peak - Mount Everest. Since 2019, “International Mountain Tourism Day” has been held for three years, themed on “High-quality Development of Mountain Tourism Guided by Ecology, Green and Technology,” “Epidemic Crisis and Challenges, Opportunities and Trends Facing Mountain Tourism,” and “World Heritage Protection and Green Development of Mountain Tourism” respectively, to explore the development patterns and practices for mountain tourism against different backdrops, and yield a positive influence in the world tourism industry.
